Blog - View Blocked

The right side of my blog is completely blocked by invitations to view other stories and by advertising, making my blog unreadable.  I wondered if it was only my view (as author) and asked a friend to check it out ... said his view of the right side of my blog was also blocked by stuff.

Anybody know how to fix this?  I've asked EP support but I really don't feel like waiting days to hear back.

EP - want to give me a few points or tokens for compensation?  And why am I seeing advertising if I'm a paid member?

Your blog displays OK when I view it in Firefox 4.

Thanks you for the quick fix. I do appreciate it.

Fixed!

@ Arsineh, Thanks for contacting me.<br />

It is still irregular, as it still is to my friend as well (I asked him to check).<br />
Per your suggestion, I have send a screen shot to the support group.<br />

What's abnormally long? If I can't string a couple of sentences together then that's another issue for EP to investigate. Kinda defeats the purpose of a blog, and, uh, that sort of thing would otherwise be known as 'Twitter', wouldn't it?<br />

Re your comment about advertising paying the bills ... I get that and I understand that. However, EP is kinda doing a double dip if you're collecting money from a paid member (me) and collecting money from an advertiser on the same page. Why not allow advertising to show on unpaid members and leave those that have paid to the statement that "EP supports don't see ads" ? Otherwise, EP should correct the statement to read "EP supporters don't see 50% of the ads they would normally see". A little bit tricky with the statements, don't you think?

Thanks for letting us know. We received your email to support and are working to correct this for you. Hlettersn abnormally long string or letters in your blog post can cause the layout to break. Unfortunately, ads are what allow us to keep this site running, though for EP suporters we block over 50% of the ads you'd see otherwise.
