I just received a flag in my inbox that I have violated the terms of service by posting an inappropriate logo for this group. Not only do I not own this group, but I also have never uploaded a logo for this group. I don't appreciate the accusation that I did. I have not logged on since Friday because I have discovered that there are people who would like to have me suspended or kicked off this website. I put my account on vacation because I just don't need (or deserve) the drama. I didn't upload any photos recently.

Here, let me say it more clearly...

I HAVE NOT UPLOADED ANY NAKED PHOTOS, OR ANY PHOTOS DEPICTING ANY EXPLICIT MATERIAL EVER.

I HAVE NOT EVER UPLOADED A PHOTO FOR THIS GROUP LOGO.

I HAVE NOT UPLOADED ANY EXPLICIT IMAGES FOR ANY GROUP, EVER.

I HAVE NO EXPLICIT PHOTOS UPLOADED IN MY PRIVATE PHOTO ALBUMS EITHER.

I don't appreciate being accused of something I didn't do when it's clearly traceable.

I got a similar flag about the group "I want to improve the Experience Project", yep this very group. Sounds like they have a hacker or problem with programing.

Im not sure what was happening around this time, but I was flagged for having an obscene profile when it clearly wasnt. Glitch, they said. Theyre always tweaking this place when they should just leave it be.

I got the same message. I think anybody who ever posted in this group did. EP is not perfect (as we all know). It is run by people and people aren't perfect. I was pissed when I saw the message because I thought, "You've got to be kidding me?!" I am one of a few people on here that flags inappropriate logos. Glitch, farce, who knows, but I was livid that I was sent such a message. EP really does need to work on the wording of their notifications. The message did seem a bit accusatory. EP is broken down into thirds. One third is full of crap, the second third is full of nutcases and the third has decent people in it. I keep a small circle with variety of friends so I have a complete group. I don't let EP folks bother me. I've got too many other irons in the fire to worry about drama. I think it is great you are in school. Two degrees, you go for it!

Don't fly off the handle. It appears that everybody got the notice about the logo. Since you said you are in college and have responsibilities that seem to be overwhelming, it makes sense to take a break from here. I remember working on Ethics papers when I was in law school. I didn't have time to play on the Internet. People are people and there are a bunch of different kinds on here. Don't take anything here too serious and you'll be fine.

  Good advice... same advice I've been giving folks on here for a few years now. Difference now is that I'm back in school working concurrently on two different degrees. I had no idea a lot of other people got that message. I don't sit and read the stories of every group I'm in because, as you well know, I don't have time to do that. However, I have a lot of really awesome friends here and I just popped in to say hi when I saw that. On the heels of other stupid stuff that happened, it just was too soon. Sorry for the frustration--Unfortunately there was a glitch that caused some members of this group to receive this PM. We've since corrected the glitch and don't expect for this to happens again.

  Yes, I think that by the time I posted this, the glitch was already fixed. However, on the heels of the other issue I faced it felt a little too similar. Thank you for taking the time to comment here. There's thousands of stories and I imagine it's a full time job just keeping abreast of it all.

  the glitch still hasn't been fixed as i got another message from epsupport a few days ago regarding the logo for the "i have big nipples" group. when will this stop? ever??

I think maybe people should read the other stories in this group.......everyone got this message and arsineh has already addressed the issue...plus think about it logically folks!

  My account is on vacation because I'm in college (yes, a real college with students, professors and really expensive books), and I have been working on 4 major projects -- Ethics, debate article written by Brison, prep PowerPoint presentation along with lecture notes; Tech Writing, write Investigative Report--topic--How social networking impacts productivity, security, employees and patients in a hospital setting, after writing the report, create PowerPoint presentation with speaker's notes; Phi Theta, draft proposal, grant request to fund new society project working with survivors of domestic violence to provide a peer-support network; Anatomy & Physiology, Lab, dissections of sheep brain, spinal cord and exam on entire Nervous System (specific to neuronal activity, neuronal chemistry and interaction between CNS and PNS. The fact that I haven't read other threads in this group has nothing whatsoever to do with being lazy or unintelligent. Two things that couldn't possibly be determined by a simple story of frustration. As I've been told countless times, "EP is what you make it." For me, it's a place to meet up with my friends and share commonality. If you disagree with the validity of my post, or my right to have posted it, that's unfortunate. I'm neither illogical, irresponsible, nor unreasonable. It was a venting post and wasn't directed at anyone in particular.

join the club, honey. like you, i was plenty pissed when i opened that message and really pissed when i got one not long ago about posting an inapprorpiate logo in the "i have a rape fantasy" group. the funny thing is that i don't even know how to post pics! talk about barking up the wrong tree!

  As if the message wasn't enough. I'm also getting grief from people who don't feel that similar stories should be allowed. There's a whole lotta barking up the wrong tree. Of course, I've been busting my butt in college, so I haven't been around much to know any of this nonsense was going on. Sorry this is your experience too.

I recieved one also just like most here. I haven't made a Group yet much as post an avatar that would violate EP's TOS. After seeing all these posts,I suspect it was just another of a glitch. But it's way becoming alarming for these kind of "warnings". It's not even getting real. Wether it was a false alarm or what, it's makes me feel "HUH!" oh my! not again.

  Well, I been kicking around EP for about 3 years now (in other profiles I deleted) and I have to say that I love this site. But, as it's grown, there are glitches and silliness. I just got through a spell where some folks were giving me grief, so this added a layer of nasty to it all. But, honestly, it's a great site. Ping me if you have any questions.
