Missing Alerts

EPAdmin,
I have noticed a trend over the last 3 months or so - I no longer receive alerts for:
Replies to comments in stories or confessions, etc.
When a circle member posts a photo
When a comment I've written gets a reply or a "like"

Not sure if you are aware of these or not - I will amend the list if I notice any more.

    Thanks for letting us know. We're investigating for a possible bug and should have this sorted out soon.



    When you say you're not receiving notifications for new relies to comment on a story--are the comments written by you? Is the story written by you? Knowing this will help us sort out the issue.

      Hi Arsineh =) Thank you for the notice of my post.
      In response: The comments and replies written by me to other peoples posts in the categories/areas: Stories, Confessions, Q&A and WB all seem to be affected to some degree. I can say that it seems, in the case of WB only, that only the replies to comments do not generate an alert, but I am not 100% certain yet.
      I have not noticed this issue, the lack of alerts, for when I am the author/writer of a Story, Q&A or Blog posting. I will be writing a Confession shortly and will see (if anyone responds) how that goes and update here, if needed.

      As I re-read my initial post here I noticed a mincing of words that was unintentional and I would like to clarify - what I meant to say above was that I no longer receive alerts for when "Friends" upload a new photo (I used to); I did not mean that I wanted to be alerted to when "Circle" members upload a photo (with the number of "Friend" requests I have received, the "Circle" category is far too large for alerts from that level of connectivity within EP.

      I saw the mis-use of terms I used and it actually scared me... *laughs*.

      Notification of replies to me in story threads and scribbles is quite erratic. But I do get lots of notification of replies I myself posted.
