Thanks for sharing these ideas with us! We're going to be discussing many of these at our developers meeting today.

Though we aren't able to print money to distribute to our members, we are working on more fun and creative ways to show are appreciation and reward members who make positive contributions.

Print money? Yeah I was born yesterday, ok, E.P. is run by amateurs and is totally strapped for cash, and of course sharing with content writers wouldn't be in E.P.'s best interest, after all there is 'no' ways to further monitize a site like this. Okee dokee, I thought I might hear something like that.

And I get the "positive" contributions thing too, I know that E.P. already has an agenda and that I will one day be censored.

Anyway, here's another tip, tone down the javascript, it is excessive and unnecessary and it locks firefox up very badly and regularly, and I have experienced this on a number of computers.

Oh and when someone is typing a long response and they get automatically logged out and then when they press 'post' and they are taken to the login screen and lose a couple hours worth of typing, that makes people start looking for bell towers (just kidding - but you get my point). E.P. ought to leave people logged in until they choose otherwise.

    Some good ideas.

No.3 isn't going to happen. I'd rather see them spend the money hiring and training more staff.

Don't be so sure, the online economy is serious and sharing the wealth creates wealth, even the skinflints are starting to get it. Always good to hear from you, you are my favorite E.P. guy, you have enough brains to be 'dangerous'.
