I Want to Improve the Experience Project
I think there should be some sort of notification whenever someone has typed 15 lines without a space between them, or 30 words without a full stop. Long, rambling, run-on stories tend to alienate their readers.
Also, when you write a story and press enter, there should automatically be an extra space. It makes stories more accessible and easier to read.
It's great to have a spell-check function. I just wish it accepted standard English (not only American spellings). I also wish people would USE it... And an automatic capitalizing function, like on a word processing program wouldn't go by the wayside, either.
Oh, and on a completely unrelated note, repeat-offender trolls should have their accounts suspended for a pre-set period of time.
