my favoritething is meeting new people.
the thing that i do most is reading stories and commenting on them.
I do comment on the stories i read often for two reasons.
    (1) it lets them know i read it andalsolets me give my ideas about what i have read.
    (2) It generates an interplay of ideas between myself and the author of the story.
the other thing that kind of irritates me is the fact of people writing a one lin statement and it counts for a story. also some people get credited with 38 stories by repeating the same one liner 38 time . This seems grosely un fair to those of us who write real length stories. just saying.

    My typical visit.....
Making the Interview was a good idea. It actually let me know I should share some things that I wouldn't have bothered to, left to my own devices.

I have come to treat EP as another email Inbox. I usually come to the site hoping that I will find a message from a friend. If I do, I might write back. Then I check the other Notifications in my Header Bar then I just start surfing. Just knocking around like a ball in a pinball machine. If I find a story that reaches me in some way, I might write, offer to help, or just compliment the writer.

This is how my habits have developed here but I can imagine other approaches if the site facilitated it. Sometimes I'd like to scan down a list of my stories, replies and posts to see how much response my stories are getting. Just a simple list of titles (since I already know what the text is) with number of comments, last EP'er to comment, date of most recent comment....of course with links to everything. That would be a good one.

I want to know why it is wrong or if it's wrong to ask for an editor and a publisher to give you a job on EP. Is it a lack of respect that compells me to ask or is it because my son and I are very near the street. I am desperate now and 24/7 , I am writing about what bothers me , that we don't own a damm car forget our own home , or even clothes to speak of. Yes I am begging , is this cyberbegging ? So be it, if it gets the job for me I'll beg unless someone can explain to me what should i consider as bad taste, I am drawn to curb my appitite when told it's classless. Do I have any defenders ? I hope so, because when I ask for a line of fire , I usually get it .

I would like a better way to find relavant groups..There are many that are way too similar here at EP, but the problem is, Ep does not have a good system in place to search, and so we create our own, only to find out later that something was all ready in place.

I would also love for spell check to be in place fror people offering comments to stories..You have a possibilty in the forum, so why not for stories..

    thank you.

What is your favorite thing about The Experience Project? The EP Staff are best and always seem to respond timely and efficiently. You have a nice group of supportive people who seem to truly care about the community. Besides that, I joined because of the journal and open forum, allowing us to ask and answer questions. The volunteer opportunity is cool. Have you thought about making it into being beneficial to those who volunteer? Letter of reference, offering a free membership upgrade to your volunteers?

What most needs to be improved about The Experience Project? I think the biggest issue comes from those who join and ignore the community guidelines that they agree to, in the beginning and then start issues when someone says anything.

What would you most like to see as a new feature on The Experience Project? Better email features....i.e., create a folder, save mail, address book, syncing contacts with yahoo/live/hotmail/gmail/etc.

What is your favorite thing to do while on the website? Or what do you spend most of your time doing while here? I really enjoy the communication with my friends, posting questions, creating groups, sharing stories, reading the responses from people who read what I write, commenting on others stories and answering questions.

How often do you comment on the stories you read? Why? Depends on the questions on a given day. :)

Anyways, thanks EP for the wonderful site, may it grow and become better as the years go by. Bless you all! :)

What is your favorite thing about The Experience Project?

My favorite thing about the Experience Project is the other members and my interaction with them.

What most needs to be improved about The Experience Project?

A mature block needs to be placed on the entire site.

What would you most like to see as a new feature on The Experience Project?

What is your favorite thing to do while on the website? Or what do you spend most of your time doing while here?

The Q&A Board, and answering PM’s from friends.

How often do you comment on the stories you read? Why?

I don’t leave the Q&A Board very often. When I comment on a story, it’s likely to be one that someone inside my circle has also commented on....which has brought it to my attention. On a VERY rare occasion I might cruise the stories and comment on the ones that I read if they strike a chord with me.

Favourite Thing: Lots of them. I love the opportunity to contact people from all over the world, and I love that it's done anonymously (feel safer that way). I can find others interested in the same subjects that I am, and also learn about new subjects. I am challenged by other people's opinions, and am able to express my own. I like writing stories and getting feedback.

Needs To Be Improved: If there has to be a **** faction, could they please just keep it to themselves? Most of us like to choose for ourselves when, where, how and with whom we will be "exposed" .

Also, I wish that when people want to become part our circles of friends, they would at least contact us in some way to let us know why. So many times I will go to check out their profile to be confronted by blatant **** - it's okay for them, but why did they think I would be interested??

Also, a couple of times I've been contacted through EP by people who read some EP story of mine on Facebook! I don't want to be on Facebook! I'm not even a memer!

    New Feature: No suggestions.

Favourite things to do: I like to keep up a long-standing almost-daily thread I've got going with an EP friend. I talk to her first. Read and reply to the rest of my mail. Scan Circle and Experience activity. Comment on the titles/people that grab my attention. Lately I haven't been able to spend much time on EP, but I really like to interpret dreams for people. Time has eliminated that activity for while, but I hope to get back to it.

Story Comments: If I read a story, I usually comment. (Also, if I start or join an Experience Group, I write at least one story in it! I find it a bit odd that people will establish or join an Experience and then not say anything about it.

I love EP. It's a brilliant concept with great interaction with the staff. Keep it up EPFolks.

WOAH stories of yours are showing up on FB and you're not even on FB? That's not cool at all.

If something I wrote ended up on Facebooj, I would NOT be happy ...!!!! We are encouraged to share here, my understanding is that it is implied that what is written here will stay here, not be on Facebook. If I wanted to publish it there, I would open ab account and do just that.. Obviously, that's not the case, or I wouldn't have posted it here..........

Nice one Erica - the power of Social Media is in interactivity and responsiveness, but so few SM providers seem to be interested in the views of their users that I wonder if they 'get it'. Obviously, you do.

Q.What is your favorite thing about The Experience Project?

    A. The whole concept of providing a forum where people are encouraged to be frank. The vast majority of SM sites are stuffed with people using the anonymity of the Internet to pretend to be what they are not. Your aims seem to be the exact opposite, and this obviously strikes a chord with the majority of your users - it even seems that a majority of your female users really ARE female!

Q.What most needs to be improved about The Experience Project?

    A. I have seen concerns raised by a couple of users about inadvertent links to things like Facebook associated with clicking 'Like' buttons. I would think that this, even if it happens only rarely, would be a major disincentive for people to maintain the frank dialogues which make this site unique. So, maybe a an obvious and well-publicised profile option which allows users to absolutely disable any linking of responses to any other service would be a good idea.

A second thing that might be useful would be to group Experiences by a user-designated keyword (ideally chosen from a brief lexicon so that it doesn't become too disparate to use). Search works OK, but like all search engines, it can turn up some unexpected items.

Q.What would you most like to see as a new feature on The Experience Project?

    A. I have not finished exploring everything that the site has to offer yet.

    Q. What is your favorite thing to do while on the website? Or what do you spend most of your time doing while here?

    A. Following the experiences of like-minded people.

Q How often do you comment on the stories you read? Why?

    A. Probably about 10% - some are touching, thought-provoking or erotic and those, I feel, deserve a response of support, applause or encouragement. And commenting positively on a posting that I like may be a way of introducing myself to some-one that I would like to know better without imposing on them.

Above all, it is clear that while many users are here to have some fun, a great number are placing an enormous faith and trust in the site and may well feel that 'it is the ONLY friend that they have'. Please safeguard that trust at all times - breaking it could hurt so many people who are feeling, for the very first time in their lives, that they have someone to talk to who actually understands. It's a brilliant idea!

I would love to be able to move my mail to my "outside" mailbox i.e., Yahoo. I've made a few real and real good friends here and we share info that I would like to be able to easily transfer instead of printing everything - sometimes I only want a section of our convo not the whole thing. Thanks for asking us what we want instead of telling us what we can have :p!

thank you kindly for clearing this up. i've only made formatting suggestions but it stands to reason the staff would also like to know what we enjoy, appreciate and utilize most on the site that way in the future it isn't removed causing a small revolt ... lol ... just joking about the revolt. but i 'get' it now. thanks, erica!
