Double Notices

This site offers many many benefits.  I just love the site and how it keeps improving.  Escpecially the forming of this group.  I want to improve the Experience Project.

What I'd like to see improve:

Ok, this is the most irritating problem as far as I'm concerned.  When I get an email.  I get the same one twice.  When I get a message or Whiteboard comment.  I get the same one twice.  It drives me batty!  LOL! 

This is a glitch.  Does anyone else have this problem?

Another improvement that I feel would be helpful would be to be able to preview a message or comment etc., before sending it!

One major improvement would be to actually be able to send your story or blog or comment etc., to your EP friends.  Not only other friends that you can message online anytime or talk to in person, but the people here on this site.  That would be sweet!

That's my 2 cents for now.  I'll probably post more later. 

Thank you EP Erica for creating this group.  I hope these recommendations will be paid attention to by the EXP site managers.

I don't get double emails. I get email notifications even though on my account setting I have clicked 'no' on them. All I really want to get are the EP support letters. I use my profile to find all my notifications.

I get a similar problem by deleting emails - they reappear as unread in my inbox.

I am having this issue now as well.

I've had that happen with white board comments but never on a regular basis. :)

Well the good news is that I am no longer receiving the double emails. Good work you guys/girls! Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The reason that the double messages and post are occurring is a mystery to us, because we are having quite a time trying to reproduce the phenomenon. Sometimes, the double posts occur because of over anxious clickers, but the double e-mails is obviously a bug with the system. We are working on it, and have hopefully gotten it fixed.<br />

:) You're not alone, the only ones I really seem to get twice are the ones that say "you have a new fan!"

We've heard of the double e-mail issue before, and haven't quite figured out what's causing it yet. We haven't noticed any issue with multiple notices, but we could be missing it due to a grouping feature of our e-mail, or it could be that only certain criteria lead to the double e-mails. Either way, we are looking into it. <br />
Your other suggestions to improve the site have been noted. Thanks for the input!<br />
