Want to Be Interviewed For a Tv Or Magazine Article On Experience Project?

Hi everyone! Well we are now back from BlogHer-- which went very well-- and getting settled into our August goals for EP. One of the big efforts we are making is in marketing and advertising. As part of this effort we are hoping to have some media coverage (TV, magazine, newspaper, etc) about our site and including a few personal stories from users who has really enjoyed their experience on EP or whose life has really been changed by our site would be awesome. If you are interested please let me, EPerica, or anyone from the EP team know.

Thanks!!

please don't get me wrong.but all this help for cats and dogs is just find.but seems to me there are a lot of human being homeless from katrina.still in the streets.are we not rated above animals.should we not help fellow man first

Word of caution....... its a double edged sword.

Being in the media gets you instant rewards... never make the mistake it will cure your ills.

Media attention will only heighten insecurity and wotnot. I want to keep a low profile and to be obscure.

The media ateention glare is not for me.

Statement: If you want fashion icons, want 0 size models, want perfect people, want actors without a human side, want ICONS to be perfect........ sorry

I am a human being and in all that I have met I have met human beings, None are perfect. Far from it, 0 size have a complex about weight & image, fatties have a complex also with this.
The cool crowd when your 18 are NOT the cool crowd at 40.

David thank you so much for your thoughtful comments. Your note about the FB app is something I think we should definitely add, I'm passing it along to the engineers!

On the subject of marketing, I have some more ideas... I'm happy to contribute because I -love- this site!

I actually found this place because my friends -finally- managed to drag me onto Facebook. I installed a Facebook application that would display my religious orientation, and during the process it linked me here, and I'm glad it did, but it all seemed a bit... lucky!

I mean, that facebook app isn't something I would directly associate with EP. If you could create a facebook app that was better integrated with this site, that would be awesome. Maybe something that displays a link to your latest story on EP? If that's even possible, I don't know, but there are plenty of apps linking to other sites, like Amazon, and music sites, etc.

The other thing is, usually when you install a Facebook app they give you the option to alert all your other Facebook friends to this wonderful new thing you've found, and usually I don't want to, but with EP I wanted to and yet the facility isn't there!

Obviously, Facebook is the big-time, with a massive and rapidly growing user-base. I think it's an excellent place to plug EP, because I'm sure a lot of people, like myself, are beginning to find Facebook to be rather shallow - you basically describe yourself with a bunch of facts and figures, it's like a list of "I likes", while actually not telling anyone anything about who you are - EP is what Facebook is sorely missing. But then, I'm sure you knew that already ;o)
