About responding to the EP newsletters now appearing on the notifications part of our profiles.

Can we introduce a sticky system, or guidance on responding to EP posts please? I think it will save everyone a lot of time and heartache.

Personally I think the EP staff are doing a great job and the newsletter shows it. They are always overstretched, and so I believe only constructive points about the features in the newsletter should be raised as comments on that feature.

I read on a recent comment "it is senseless and a complete waste of space" (I'm not naming and shaming, it's just an example that proves the importance of my point). Equally pointless are "Thanks" and "Waiting for that iPhone app" style comments. They simply take EP staff time to read (combined it's a lot I'm sure) and don't contribute anything to the site (that's my own humble opinion, other people's opinions may well differ!).

A better example might be, "I really like the new message threading feature, it helps me keep track of which bits of a story I've told to whom - especially when that conversation is intermittent over a period of time."

Can something be done to work towards that ethos, or is it too much?
