I Don't Know....

You Are 16% Capitalist, 84% Socialist

You see a lot of injustice in the world, and you'd like to see it fixed.

As far as you're concerned, all the wrong people have the power.

You're strongly in favor of the redistribution of wealth - and more protection for the average person.

I think there should be more categories than the capitalist or the socialist,I don't consider myself a socialist but i'd definitely not consider myself a capitalist.I guess the results illustrate that..

hi Combook,Thank you for commenting. :) ya the US deficit is skyrocketing right now thanks to the bail outs and the tax cuts.It is an interesting scenario. The corporations want the low interest rates to continue and there is the unemployed who are out of jobs for a long time who needs the benefits.the tax benefits that the american govt. wants to start to encourage hiring seem to be a compulsory regardless of it's potential limited effectiveness.i have been reading economists going for and against letting the deficit be and depending on who's side we are,we tend to listen to the arguments that suit us unfortunately.
I'm taking that you are saying no to more taxes for social programs btw yes?do you believe that america can take care of it's needy and older generation without it?I have read that social security is going to run out of money as early as 2020 and if that's the case, what do you think should be done?

Thank you so much for your comment again btw.I respect your opinion and i see where you are coming from. The deficit is really scary and i know it should be something that must be watched.i just have so many questions lolz! I completely agree with you when you say deficit is a problem.the only thing that makes me think is in context to the alternatives like taking away or limiting the benefits and the little security net most people have right now,i just wonder if it's the number one problem we should be thinking about. Thanks again :)

Well, I guess a lot of people were helped now. We have given it all away and as of this past year, the government has borrowed more from other countries than it can ever pay back. How do you give any more under those circumstances? There's nothing left.

some social programs are completely necessary,Puck.I completely agree with you..It all boils down to how efficient these programs are too yes? some times i've noticed some social programs just don't work because of that.
do you think that paying extra taxes for social programs is a acceptable,Puck?

Well the fact is we need social programs. There are a lot of sucessful people who have been on welfare and one time in their lives. My lady friend is retired real estate agent with several properties, and at one point in her life she was on food stamps. Then you have, education, libraries.public safety, and such.

Ohh that's cool Puck! you are taking the capitalist system with a healthy criticism looks like..I think that's a mature point of view

I'm probably about a 16th socialist and 84% capitalist. Ha ha

Thank you for your comment,Puck :) I'm no way close to being a socialist,Puck.I think it reflects how i'm not at ease with capitalism...Thanks for the comment really :)

I don't see how anyone could be 100% capitalist, and I'm a capitalist. I don't think capitalism would work without some socialism.
Of course your ratio and political stance is all wrong so please correct yourself. Thank you.
