Yep, It`s the Obvious...

I was hoping it didn't make me sound to `princess-y`, but the truth is that I am still suffering because of her. I will need to write that story soon...

They understand how important it is to open up and not suffer in silence. Suffering in silence is not only lonely, in time it becomes toxic. I too had my demons, in addition to my illness. My father was, for want of a better word, a monster.

Oh, and so was she... She made sure I knew how bad I was, she cut me off from every strength I had, she ripped all goodlovely away from me. Man, she just had this way of making me feel like ****, then making sure I knew it was true.
I am so tired and sore of carrying around this useless pain. Thanks for your comments. :)

I totally agree. I think most of us on here have been hurt or abused by someone in our life. What better forum to open up at your pace. Take it little by little and before you know it ,it will come pouring out of you. When it does it is this immense weight lifted off you, you begin to see things in a new light.
Always know it was not your fault and no matter what kind of b******t you have been told, you are a special person and deserve to be treated so. I grew up in a abusive home, was sexually assualted at 15, married a abusive man at 19.

That was nice, Strawberry, and right on. When I was struck down to my knees with Manic Depression I literally cursed God - I felt that I had been singled out for cruelty. Only after much healing did I understand that nice people suffer too, and the justice of the world is too complex for us to know. You were innocent, Cindy, just a kid. But now is the time to fight and struggle for your own happiness, to reclaim it.

ElLagarto and strawberry1969 put forward some very good advice. For me personally when I finally put a story on here about what happened to me, I felt everything shift. I suddenly realised I don't have to be ashamed anymore. I look forward to putting so much more on here, getting it all out.

I hope you are able to get it out and find it as rewarding as I have. Remember in the end Cinderella got the good life. Thank your for sharing that, it was brave.
