With the naked eye, auras are colorless because the part of the spectrum that they occur in is outside our normal range of vision (which is to say the violet-red hues). When we assign a color to an aural wavelength it is for the purpose of distinguishing them for our purpose.

The lower the frequency the longer the wavelength. So reds are lower, violets are higher. But the actual wavelength of energy in our aura is outside that realm so we sense it but only when we view it with special cameras that convert the wavelengths to color can we "see" them in color.

Now I have know people who claim to see the colors with their eyes. I won't refute that but I will say that eveyrones eyes are different. Some people are color blind and some have sharper vision than others. So who is to say really?

"I see auras colourlessly, and yet still visible. I can only describe it as looking like a heat wave. Sort of wavery, and of varying size and intensity. I have always seen things in this way. There's a sort of "tension" between the actual outline of what I'm looking at, and whatever is behind it. I've never heard or read of anyone who sees auras this way."

I am not sure what you are seeing are auras.

Let me ponder what you have said.

Very interesting and unusual gift you have....

You know, I very rarely see auras in colour. Only once in awhile. But I DO see auras in a way that is hard to explain. And this is how I've seen them since I was a small child, but I've never had anyone explain this to me, so I just accept it and go on.....I see auras colourlessly, and yet still visible. I can only describe it as looking like a heat wave. Sort of wavery, and of varying size and intensity. I have always seen things in this way. There's a sort of "tension" between the actual outline of what I'm looking at, and whatever is behind it. I've never heard or read of anyone who sees auras this way. Perhaps you and POE can instruct me?
