Wow! That's a While Back.
I pretty much read cause I enjoyed reading. All kinds of books. What do I remember.
Other than my regular reading of Life, Seventeen, Better Homes & Gardens, mags about the Beatles, Bobby Darin and other teen stuff.
I enjoyed Ian Fleming's 'James Bond' novels, or John Le Carrre novels, Donald Hamilton 'Matt Helm' novels, Kurt Vonegut, HG Wells and Jules Verne.
There was also Profiles in Courage, Valley of the Dolls, A Thousand Days, The Longest Day, Death of a President, Fail Safe, Seven Days in May and Sex and the Single Girl.
I think the Diary of Anne Frank and To Kill A Mockingbird might be my favs back then.
Don't remeber them as being assigned reading in school though.
