My Top Picks

not that i'm a big believer in christmas, but there are a few christmas movies that i love, each for their own reasons. a wonderful life, nightmare before christmas, a christmas story, and rudolph. rudolph was always my favorite as a kid because i could relate to being a misfit from the rest of the world, and still do. nightmare before christmas is like a dream come true for those who love twisted demented love movies that can be watched on christmas without weirding anyone out. it's a wonderful life has always been my soft spot. no other christmas movie makes me appreciate believe in love and appreciate my life more than that one. a christmas story always feels real, partly because the story takes place in indiana close to where i live, but it has those hilarious embarrassing and raw childhood memories that are understanding, because everyone has at least one weird christmas tale they talk about years later. my favorite christmas based tv episode is the twilight zone christmas special. it still rings true to the meaning of christmas with just the right touch of sci fi that makes it very touching and magical. one the shows best episodes in my opinion.
