Like a Fetter

I recently joined our church choir, something I had not previously done because I have a very average voice and didn't think it would do much to enhance our choir. But I joined anyway, and our first practice song was one I'd heard before but not really listened to. It was called "Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing". As I sang the song with the other choir members, the words pierced my heart. I felt like I had a huge lump in my throat, which certainly didn't help my singing ability!

"Oh to grace how great a debtor daily I'm constrained to be! Let thy goodness like a fetter bind my wandering heart to thee. Prone to wander, Lord I feel it, prone to leave the God I love; here's my heart oh take and seal it, seal it for thy courts above."

I am so glad eyeno! That's how I feel when I listen to it too. The video is 6:31 minutes long, and I love watching the young woman at 5:15 singing with such feeling, tears streaming down her face. Very moving!
