fine. but only if you listen to Skinny Love by Bon Iver, and Rosie by Jackson Browne, and The World Spins Madly On by The Weepies. and Bright Eyes, lots of Bright Eyes.
=]

Well, for ***** sake. I'll get some of that. I promise. I'm 9 seconds from opening Itunes and buying it. But you must listen to Live 1966 by Bob Dylan. It's only fair. We can trade our vicarious genius. I don't mind. Do it. So will I.

he's an amazing Irish singer songwriter :) dooooooooooooooooooo it.

and whilst you're doing that, get some Thee Silver Mt Zion. Best Band Ever. And Godspeed You! Black Emperor. and a billion others but i wont get carried away. )

I always feel like the square in the bunch. I have to listen to this song now. And learn who Damien Rice is....

its beautiful.... i love the imagery as well, or the way i took it, that theyre having an affair, and this accidental baby is this emotion born out of what they share...... and the image of happy hearts and elbows in the appropriate place.... its gorgeous :)

ill check them out later, im having a bright eyes day today :)

The song Levon is supposedly about the guy Levon Helm. it's not mentioned in the song, though.
If you've never heard of The Band you need to hit Itunes and do some jammin. SOME of their stuff is ok. They were also Bob Dylan's backing band for his 1966 Tour (best live album ever - recorded in Manchester, not Albert Hall as folks say) and they both did The Basement Tapes. Great stuff.

Anyway, Levon Helm had a dreamy beard back in the day. I suppose he might still have a beard now but he's not quite as dreamy.

you lost me. where does helm come into it?

I'll take Mona Lisas... over Levon any day. Plus I hear its about Levon Helm from The Band... just thinking about him "liking his money" makes me sad since I like his beard the most.

have you heard Eva Cassidys version of Aint No Sunshine? Its beautiful )
