I know I'm not fat. I just want to be skinny.

Girl, I was on the same page.

Don't let yourself absorb those thoughts. I was 117 lbs when I graduated high school. I knew I was not fat but I used those exact same words "I just want to be skinny".

It took 5 years and 3 eating disorders for me to finally understand that it was that one thought repeated over and over again that created this eating disorder monster that I was addicted to.

Please take my advice-- Let those thoughts pass and do not dwell on them. Sometimes we can't control which thoughts come to us but we have the power to reject them.

You are beautiful inside and out. That's all that matters :).

WHY do you want to be skinny? Skinny is not pretty. Look in the mirror each day and say the words of things you DO like about your body. Example "I love the shape of my shoulders....". Focusing on what you DO like will help you to love yourself and your body more.

Thank you so much :)
