I Lived As A Woman For 8 Years

(this is my story from another group, thought it would fit better here)
I lived as a woman from the time I graduated from high school until I turned 26. It was a hard decision to go back to being a man, though I've maintained an effeminate manner. It's hard to be a woman for 8 years and then all of a sudden start being "manly". That was a long time ago, and I still cross dress, wear makeup all the time, but I'm a man. But I keep thinking about how maybe it would have been better, if back then, I'd have become a woman permanently.

But I met a woman at work who had become my best friend, who had learned that I was really a male and was fine with it. When I started going bald, it seemed the best thing to go back to being a man. If you think it's hard to be a man and then begin living as a woman, you try the reverse.

But me and that woman got married and we're approaching our 25th wedding anniversary, so perhaps it's all for the best.

Glad to hear you found that "one" that completes you and loves you for you... It's hard to find ,even among the straight people

Thanks, yeah, it seems I won the lottery in this area.
