I Want to Live In a Fantasy World
I want to live a fairy tale.
It can't be that hard of a task.
I want to be a courageous princess.
Is that too much to ask?
I want to alter space and time,
All in verse and all in rhyme.
Go on adventures, taking chances,
Walk the forest, attend moonlit dances.
I want to mingle with fairies and sprites,
Be haloed in wondrous multicolored lights.
I want to face the Jabberwock, my friend.
For my story to have a happy end.
I want to be a damsel in distress,
To tell my proposing Prince Charming, "Yes."
I want to face a dragon firece,
Or for Cupid's arrow my heart to pierce.
To have a unicorn lay his head in my lap,
As we sit under a tree and nap.
I want Titania to bless my dreams,
Or in a net to capture the sun's gold beams.
I want days filled with magic and laughter.
I want to live happily ever after.

I want to live happily ever after.
