freedom isn't being able to do things other people can't. it's not measured based on how much more freedoms you have compared to so-and-so.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA u are a complete ******* do you have any idea what freedom even is? I mean really at least in the USA you can make something of yourself if you work hard, in many countries you are not allowed to even do that.

yeah, that money was stolen from you guys. it's kina sickening. really though, it was that or let the economy collapse and that would have been worse. HOWEVER, it's a real shame your government is doing nothing to control how this money gets spent. And somehow, the US dollar is stronger than it was a monh ago by leaps and bounds this is not setting up for a good situation, only a bigger and harder fall at a later time

I have visited many countries in my life, the meaning of free is that we can go places without being watched or harrassed just because we want to go there. In what other country can you get on the net and write about your government good or bad and not have the cops at your door as soon as you write it.

I think what she's trying to demonstrate is what bitlord is saying; we are opressed. And its easy to feel trapped and defeated. A lot of people are backed into financial corners and the opportunities we were raised to believe we would have aren't really there.

But also, bebe, freedom isn't euphoria. We always have rich and always have poor. And we will always have them in that order. The best we can hope to see in our futures is the expansion of middle class.

Ok and as I agree with what you are saying, let me make myself more clear, one more time... I am not saying I would want a completely free country.. not by any means.. all I was simply trying to state was the fact that our country is really not THAT free, not as free as people would assume..

Well I am not really complaining about it - and unless I do some good research then there is nowhere else I would like to live BUT all I am trying to get across is that it's not as free as one would like or think it would be... THAT'S the part you laugh with...

    Do you love it here?

And would you agree that it isn't as free as it's cracked up to be?
