Seems like everyone has a selfish motive for taking (or not taking) action.  Governments are driven by consumerist greed, religions lack ethical integrity, social structures support ego, paranoia and collective guilt.  What's happened to genuine compassion?  Where have all the revolutionaries gone?  Why is it more and more difficult to be authentically courageous?  When did free expression become a tool of the technologically elite?  Most importantly, from where can hope arise? - and what can each of us do to support alternative culture?... beyond the capitalist hype,  militaristic jingoism and soundbyte patriotism?

If you can get your hands on it, see the documentary 'Conspiracy of Silence'. <br />
