I Shall Pass This Way Once....

“I shall pass this way but once. Therefore, any good that I can do or any kindness that I can show, let me do it now, for I shall not pass this way again.”

"the phrase "The way" in this quote stands for your life on earth.."we will all  live and die one day cause death is inevitable" therefore show kindness, love, give food to the hungry, give arms to the poor, help the needy, give shelter to ones who have no homes. do any good you can do, show ay kindness you can show. your life is not going to be measured by the money, cars or shares you own, but your life is going to be measured by the number of people you have helped, the number of life you have changed..and remember you are only going to be passing this road once not twice friend..(Act as if what you do makes a difference.  It does) a life changed by you will go on to change another life, and the circle continues..

(The purpose of life is not to be happy - but to matter, to be productive, to be useful, to have it make some difference that you have lived at all)..the selfish phrase i often hear people say is "i just want to be happy".your purpose in life is not just to be happy, for you to have lived at all is to have make a difference in someone's life (Live simply that others might simply live).

(I am only one, but I am one.  I cannot do everything, but I can do something.  And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do).."True." you can do everything, you can change the world but you can make a difference just by changing reaching out to one helpless soul.It is the greatest of all mistakes to do nothing because you can only do little - do what you can and leave the rest for God.remember Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little.

(If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one.  ~Mother Teresa)

(Never worry about numbers.  Help one person at a time, and always start with the person nearest you.  ~Mother Teresa)

"Wherever a man turns he can find someone who needs him". someone needs you you today, some needs you to encourage him/her, to keep moving on and not to give up..some needs you today, to have a hope for tomorrow/future..someone needs your words of encouragement today to go after their dreams, someone needs your words of comfort simply to live and not commit suicide. all those people who committed suicide could  have lived if only someone around them  care enough to talk to them about their life.

"This is the true joy in life - being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; being a force of nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy". look for a purpose greater than yourself, well you may have excuses of you losing a love one, being a widow, losing  a son, a daughter, been hurt by the pain of divorce or the betrayal that comes from a loved one", deep down your are hurt, you are torn apart, life doesn't make any sense to you, you may have read many books on forgiveness, you may have attend different types of counseling from all kinds of counselor's, but still the pain still reside in you. the healing you need is just to reach out to someone hurting just as you are, the healing you need is to help someone who have gone through same trauma you went through but end up a lot worse than you.The healing you need is to help someone else come out of that pain, fear or trauma you know they are also going through, when they come out of it, then you will definitely be totally healed. Remember In about the same degree as you are helpful, you will be happy.(Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something)..The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to.

I wondered why somebody didn't do something.  Then I realized, I am somebody. please realize today that you are someone who can do something, you are someone who can make a difference today.

What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal.

The truth is some men have written their names in sand and water washed away their names, some have written their names on the rock, but the rock later broke into pieces, some have written their names in calender's and as the years goes by we have thrown the calenders away, but some few wise and brave men have written their names in a positive way in the heart of men and women, they may have died  but the good they have done lives in the heart of men.and their stories are been told from generations to generations.

The great use of life is to spend it for something that outlasts it. that is just what these men have done:

Thomas Jefferson (1743- 1826) 3rd President of US. Principle author of Declaration of Independence

Mikhail Gorbachev (1931 - ) Leader of Soviet Union. Oversaw transition from Communism in Eastern Europe.

Martin Luther King (1929 - 1968) Non-violent civil rights leader

Nelson Mandela (1918 - ) Anti-apartheid leader. First President of democratic South Africa in 1994.

Mahatma Gandhi - Gandhi was the principle figurehead of the Indian independence movement. Taught a philosophy of non-violence and peaceful protest.

Abraham Lincoln - Abraham Lincoln overcame many setbacks to become the most influential American President. In his famous Gettysburg speech, he inspired the nation with his noble words and helped to bring about the abolishment of slavery.

Mother Teresa - A modern day saint who sought to identify with and offer compassion to the unloved and destitute. Lived a life of voluntary poverty and service to the poor.

Florence Nightingale. Volunteered to nurse soldiers during the Crimean War. The pitiful conditions and her statistical analysis helped to revolutionise the service of nursing and the treatment of patients.

Anne Frank. Anne Frank was nobody special, just an ordinary teenage girl. But, she became a symbol of how ordinary people can get caught up in man's inhumanity. Despite the most testing of conditions, Anne retained an optimistic spirit and faith.

The best way to find yourself, is to lose yourself in the service of others.

friend where will like to write your name?

If you want to touch the past, touch a rock.  If you want to touch the present, touch a flower.  If you want to touch the future, touch a life.

Everyone cannot be popular but everyone can be, great ..

Past the seeker as he prayed came the crippled and the beggar and the beaten.  And seeing them... he cried, "Great God, how is it that a loving creator can see such things and yet do nothing about them?"  God said, "I did do something.  I made you."  If you do a good job for others, you heal yourself at the same time, because a dose of joy is a spiritual cure.

Real joy comes not from ease or riches or from the praise of men, but from doing something worthwhile.

Today i dare you to "Find a need and fill it"

God has not called us to see through each other, but to see each other through.

Seek to do good, and you will find that happiness will run after you.

Help one another; there's no time like the present and no present like the time.

Being a man or a woman is a matter of birth.  Being a man or a woman who makes a difference is a matter of choice.

There are many in the world who are dying for a piece of bread, but there are many more dying for a little love.

You may not have saved a lot of money in your life, but if you have saved a lot of heartaches for other folks, you are a pretty rich man.

Plant flowers in others' gardens and your life becomes a bouquet!

When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world.  I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation.  When I found I couldn't change the nation, I began to focus on my town.  I couldn't change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family.  Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family.  My family and I could have made an impact on our town.  Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world.  ~Author Unknown

Find out how much God has given you and from it take what you need; the remainder is needed by others.

Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope... and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.  ~Robert F. Kennedy

Each of us can only do the best we can for as many as we can and that will never be good enough for those of us who care.

No joy can equal the joy of serving others.

It's good to be blessed.  It's better to be a blessing.

FRIEND, BE A BLESSING TODAY...
