I Need to Lose 30 Lbs

I am 5'4" and 137 lbs today.  I desperately NEED to lose 30 lbs.  I have been much lower than that, but was forced to fatten up (long story).  I want to lose 30 lbs to start with and then take it from there...

I think you should just try excercising so you can tone up! I am 5'3 and weigh 120 and i'ved achieved that by eating healthy and excercising every other day! I love my body and would never think of getting any skinnier, come on why would you want to look unhealthy?? Not good just think about it girly bfore you do anything :)

I am 5'4"" and 155... I was 160 and lost 5 pounds the last 3 weeks... I think if I just get to 140, i will look amazing... I do not want to lose more than that... i will look sick... I think I look much better with the extra few pounds.. My face look fuller, my eyes look bigger, and my chest look bigger... :) I don't think anyone likes skinny girls..

How about you just be healthy!!! Take walks, eat good food, and make healthy choices. Take a good multi-vitamin and just love life (and yourself.) The second you stop focusing on the goal is the second you can't reach it. The goal should be to be healthy... The result is being a fitter, healthier weight. Easy! (I know, i've been there!) *chin up darling!*

I can understand wanting to me as skinny as you have been in the past, trust me we all want that. But the healthy weight for 5'4" is 140. so losing 30 lbs would clearly be an unhealthy choice.

Ok so that you all feel better. I'm 50 years old. Going through menopause have really made me gain weight, and it seems like nothing I do helps. It is all around my belly and I hate the way I look, but throughout my life <br />
I had been on evry kind of diet you can think of. At this age I still want to feel and lok attractive (and I don't) but I'm nt willing to starve myyself like I used to.<br />

go for it...I'm 5ft and way to fat..my goal is 99 lbs. slim quick and green tea... count every calorie you take in from your coffee to the 20 calorie green beans..I only eat 500 calories or less.. I lost 12 lbs in 2 weeks and keeping it off...if u slip up either don't eat the next day or get rid of it with in 30 min...stay away from bananas 100 cal each stay away from meat eat beans 60 cal for a 1/2 cup...count calories the weight literally melts off

I don't think you should lose 30lbs. I'm your same height and I went down to 120 and people kept asking me if I was anorexic and told me I looked unhealthy. Now I'm at 145 and I'm honestly happier at this weight than I was at any other. You probably have a great body and there's no need to change it.

Whatever! I'm 5'4 and I weigh much more than that! I just want to get down to 145. The healthy weight for 5'4 is between 110 and 130, but I like to be curvy and voluptuous. You don't want to be too skinny, do you?!
