Weight Loss...2 Keys

 When I was in high school, 3 years ago I wasnt what you would call a skinny kid, I loved to eat and working out was the last thing on my mind. I played baseball when I was in high school, all my coaches told my how great I would be if I just took off 20-30 lbs. I never listened to them, I dont know why, I just thought I was doing the right thing for myself. My dad especially always tried to motivate me to get in shape, over and over again it seemed that I had failed him. He was pooring all this money into me for baseball lessons and training and the results were the same.

 

When I got to college, I realized I was on my own and it was time to make a change. I sat down at my computer one night and began to write about how much I wanted to lose this weight in order to impress this one girl, who was going on the same spring break trip as me. It seems shallow I know, But key 1 to losing weight it to have something to motivate you to start working out and eating correctly. That night I vowed to myself to start and I kept going. Each day I would go to the gym and work out for 1.5 hours, now the workout was not intense but for a guy you have to take in 2200 calories a day, I dont count my calories but in the back of my mind I think about what I have eaten and try to make sure that I stay around or even below that 2200 number. That is Key 2...you can eat whatever you want as long as you burn it off. It is a process that works, I started seeing results in 4 weeks....Girls and Guys a like would come up to me and say "I dont understand how u lost all that weight". But, I still wasnt done....I kept the same routine going and by the end of Freshmen year I had lost 45 lbs. 

 

Now, I can keep up with my friends on the football field, fit into size 34 pants and finally, I try on clothes and come out of the store happy every time.

 

Losing weight just takes a little motivation. Once you see the results you will not want to stop
