Just Doing It.

So within a year I went from 115 to 185. Gross, I know.

It was caused by depression & alcoholism. For about six months of that year I was practically a solid. There were a lot of days where I didn't even bother going outside, and almost everyday was filled with take-out food and an intake of alcohol - anywhere between 2 flasks and a fifth of vodka a day.

So a little over seven months ago I went to rehab. The best thing I could have ever done for myself. Kicked the booze and drugs, and have started to loose weight since then. And between eating healthy, working out (the last three months have been spent with nearly every day or every other day in the gym) I've lost 20 pounds, I'm not back to my old self yet but it's encouraging.

Yeah, I get frustrated that it's not falling off faster that I'd like.  But at least I'm doing something healthy for myself, for once in my life.

Congrats!!! Hope you reach your goal soon.

Your story is very inspiring, I am glad things are working out for you. I have had weight issues as well but not due to alcohol. Mostly for depression. I think it is great that you posted your story on here. I am new to this group, so I don't really know what i am supposed to post.... but congrats! Scam
