I Need to Lose Weight, But I Don't Have the Will Power.

I absolutely love my food!

my chocolate, crisps, and all the bad food!

i do like a lot of healthy food aswel.

being as i'm in college, i get free time at odd times of the day, and this affects the balancing of my diet. I'm too lazy to exercise, although i do walk sometimes for half an hour here and there.

I'm not overweight, infact i'm quite a nice weight for my height so people say, but when i see skinny people on t.v. and such, i think how much i'd love a body like that. It brings my confidence down.

I would only change my weight for my fiance. he says he loves me the way i am, but i wouldn't be so concious if i lost a few pounds.

but i don't think it's going to happen. i wouldn't have lived life to the full if i diet i feel, because i would miss my crisps and chocolate too much.

so no weight loss for me unfortunately!

don't let those models get you down. Appreciate yourself the way you are, because you're lucky if you can still eat chocolate and crisps and be a normal weight.
I used to eat whatever I wanted (within reason) and not gain weight. But I wasn't thin, and that bothered me that my weight just stayed the same no matter what because I wanted to be thinner. So I didn't appreciate my body the way it was (especially the fact that I could eat so much and not gain weight!)....and got depressed and gained weight, and have been overweight for a few months. So then I needed to lose weight, just to get back to normal (I'm still in the process, but I've already lost 16lbs (without intentionally changing anything, just caring about myself more).
Anyways, the point of my little rant is that I wish I had appreciated myself the way I was. Because there really wasn't anything wrong with me; I just created something in my mind because I was buying into society's unrealistic standards of "beauty," and thus manifested that problem for me to have to deal with.

Some top comments here u guys!!

Exactly. In fact, you may like to bulk up a bit. I find even guinea pigs to be easy on the eyes. As long as you don't bite my fingertips.

I think your body's cool as how it is, you little meercat.

Don't fret, many guys like the thin but healthy looking girls with some curves! It's a sign of fertility. Maybe what you need is to tone, not lose weight. You can buy mini weight 2.5 lbs each for like $10 and tone your abs, arms, thighs, butt, and so on. When you build the muscle, that area continues to burn fat even while your sleeping. So eat whatever, and try toning =)

Hi me to im not that fat but i would like to be thinner like the models on tv. and ive had my stages of wanting to lose weight and cant do it because i love my food as well. but something has clicked and i dont love food anymore and i have lost interest in eating. i dont know how long it will last but i feel so good and i dont exercise either im a really lazy person. so good luck!
