Posted Apr 21st, 2009 at 4:00PM Hi, I'm not sure if your nick refers to your struggle with your weight or an obsession with money... However, your struggle with weight probably deals with bad habits you have accumulated in your youth. Stop and think about what you do everyday and what is your primary motivation in life. Is it food or is it your desire to not think about anything else? Weight loss is part physical but mostly psychologial. You have to be willing to change your lifestyle as well as your eating habits. However, everything starts with the first step. If you are willing to make a change, then you are halfway there. I wish you the best of luck. You are young and have your whole world in front of you. The choice you make now will affect you the rest of your life. The difference is between saying and doing something. Be that person who you want to be. YOU have the power within you, I know it. Posted Apr 21st, 2009 at 4:02PM I was where you here 15 month ago, well maybe a little less, but I was the big guy. I was at 260 and still climbing. I finally said enough and re-took control over that part of my life. I started eating right and walking and began my path to getting healthier. I now realize it will never be a diet, but a complete lifestyle change. I workout for at least an hour 6 times a week and have dropped 60 lb. It takes a desire from inside to do this. | |
