That Last 20 Lbs!

I have lost around 40 lbs in the last year and a half, slowly, just exersizing more and eating healthy. But i want to lose around 20 more lbs...and it is getting HARD! I have heard it a million times: the last 20 lbs is the hardest and it shows the most. I would love to lose about 10 more by the end of the summer and then the other 10 during the fall. It sure is nice to have people to talk to though. Dieting alone sucks. yay for support groups. All of my friends are either thin and in shape or significantly overweight and out of shape. i need that in the middle friend like me. Someone who can go for a jog, but can in no way run a marathon!

Yes that last 20 is hard, but keep up the work. I have been at this for over 18 months and lost at least 60 lb and still have a little work to do ( 15 lbs ). Shake up your workup. If you are only doing cardo, do some weights. If you jog, get on a bike or go for a swim. Always take the stairs. If you workout in the morning, go for a walk or jog in the evening or the other way around. Remember it's not a diet, it's living a health lifestyle and you will have to do it for the rest of your life. If you stop, chances are you will go back to your old habits and put the weight back on.

I am definately in the fat and out of shape catagory :o) I think there is a website you might be interested in, I can't remember what it's called, but I remember watching a news report on this guy. He had set up a jogging buddy website that had gone global, hey it might even be or something like that - do a search online, you might find his website and a jogging buddy!<br />
