Thank u 4 ur comment Winish! Again I am soooo glad I came across that superb site! am learning somuch from all ur comments guys and getting the support I need!

Winish u hit many sensitive cords with me! 1st when u talked about the right amount of weight to loose each week: well I always start a diet by exercising so much and barely eating! so I loose so much weight in the 1st month but the second month comes to disappoint me, I barely loose weight and then get depressed and then turn to food for comfort and then restart the empty cycle :-s so yes now I know I should do like what u said coz I learnt it the hard way.

I also have tried every single diet and diet pills u can think off but nothing helps like the old fashion way of eating healthy and less and moving+ exercising more.

I also never had realistic goals, I always imagine myself loosing 180 pounds in 6 month I really do!

I back up every word u all wrote! I hope others read this and benefit like I did! thank u all 4 ur comments and support! Plz keep on tracking me and blessing me with ur advices, cooments and support!

You have to be patient when it comes to weight loss! Be careful of those alleged diets that promise you quick results, because these diets can do more harm than good to your overall health in the long run. I will continue to stick to what I have learned in college during my training in Exercise Physiology, that it is medically safe to loose 1-2 lbs per week. Secondly, the best approach to weight loss is exercise and eating in moderation. Diet and exercise both go together when it comes to safely achieving your desired weight loss goal. Finally, continue to love yourself for who you are and despite of how much you weight. Try not to be overly dissatisfied with appearance or your slow achievement, because you will eventually find yourself beginning to be impatient and frustrated. Don't try to look at the total weight you would like to lose, because you will only become overwhelmed by this. Set small weekly realistic weight loss goals that are achievable. It can be done!

My problem is that I am very impatient and patience is clearly NOT one of my virtues! What ur doing is superb! I am really getting so much help, idead and support from u all and am proud of u all! plz keep up the good work coz u have passed a long way! Its a whole change 2 the life style indeed! I hope I am able 2 do this like u guys :)

The best way to lose is slow and gradual. You have the right mindset, eat health and workout more. I started my weight loss by just trying to eat a low fat, low sugar diet and control my portions. I ended up eating half what I used to eat. The other part of the equation was walking, at least 1 hour everyday. In the end I ended up losing at least 70 lb and getting into pretty good shape. Last year I rode my bike 5300 miles. I am down around 200. I am making sure I burn what I eat, still eat healthy, and workout at least 1 hour 6 days a week. Remember it's truly a lifestyle change for the rest of your life.

Well yes am trying to be on the right track although I have 2 admit that its not easy! I am doing it to be more healthy, feel better and look better and only 4 myself! I am trying 2 eat healthy and less, exercise more and try 2 move more!

Thank you 4 the support and congrats 2 u also! am so happy 4 u and proud of u! I hope I experience what u experienced and I get 2 shed all the weight off! I currently weigh @ my highest 300 pounds but am hoping 2 loose the weight this year!
I would like 2 b ur friend and hear more about ur experience :)

I support u, for wanting to loose weight but are u doing it the right way and for the right reasons? If u are doing it by faith, willpower, changing eating habbits ( like less salt and fast food), and are u eating healthier foods like vegiees that are fresh or steamed plus are u exerscing too? Are u loosing weight to make urself feel better or not? If u are doing all these things and loosing weight to better ur lifestyle and for urself than I do support u and congraultions as well!! I know u can do it, I once struggled with weight problems which lead to self eestem problems but not anymore, 6 yrs ago I honestly weighted in at 299lbs and now here I am in my middle 20's and I have losted all that weight and am down to 140lbs I have a lot to say ty for especially to my higher powers and a little to willpower!
