I Need Ideas

I was the victim of rape and I just heard a story about a girl that had almost the same experience that I did and now I want to make a difference. I want to be able to do something big and help girls like this all over or atleast in my home state (idaho). I don't know where to start or what to do though. I would like to be able to become someone that everyone knows stands up for victims no matter what. I want to be that person. Any ideas on what I could do to get started? Note that I live in Oregon so I cannot directly do things in Idaho, over the internet or other ideas to do from afar would be great!

When something that dramatic happens to most teens and they don't want anyone to know about it. They try to keep it hidden and resort to finding ways to cope over the internet, they'll find stories about others like themselves and look for a way to deal with it until they finally do tell someone that they trust even though it might take a while for them to tell someone.I think you should make a blog, or even a Facebook page that is anonymous to give help or answers to cope with it, add all your friend, and their friends and so on. They will want help and to know that they are not alone, I think that they will find comfort in turning to someone who has overcome what they are going thorough. So make a page giving help and even let others post their stories on your wall for whoever wants to help, even if you help one person it will be worth it. :)
