As I observe this world, there are endless possibilities for all of us.

To give freely without expectations removes disappointment and allows me to live each day as though tomorrow is not promised.

I pray for a better world that encourages people to communicate openly with each other as well as that people find peace when suffering.

I have told people when they volunteer at shelters or food kitchens do not forget to take the time to sit down and talk to the people that they are serving. They have a story to tell...no child in a classroom ever raises their hands and say that they want to be homeless, a drug addict, or an alcoholic; each child has potential whether the child is able to realize his/ her dream is up to us as mentors to pay it forward.

Please be good to each other.

Yes! People ask why I engage with homeless people. Because every story is different, and sometimes it can surprise you. And sometimes, being treated as not invisible, as a fellow human being, can make a difference.
