When in school and University and didn't really have friends, just acquaintances. One of them came out to be my friend of 10 years now. At work I thought I had friends, but later on, after I switched jobs, I realized that wasn't the case at all. It was sad.
Then we had a company of 7 of us, we met often, had good time, supported each other in time of need, etc. But in the past 2 years that "friendship" proved itself total nonsense.
Why when people get comfortable with one another don't think its necessary anymore to be careful not to hurt feelings or apologize?
Right now I have a handful of people I call my friends, and couple of handfuls I call acquaintances.
But I'd love to make new friends in future :)
