I Want to Make Public Nudity Legal
Two hundred yeas ago cotton was "king" of big money in the US, and the textile business was huge in England. They passed laws that require people to wear clothes. They pushed churches to condemn human bodies as "obscene." The land owners cut down English forests to run sheep for wool. In the American south they cleared thousands of acres to grow cotton. Human bodies, they said, have to be covered.
Today we still have huge corporations making polyester, growing cotton, running shopping malls, making us wear products that waste natural resources, pollute the land, and make us ashamed of our own bodies.
Its time to end the corporate coercion. Get the government off our backs. If someone wants to buy a spring outfit, fine, but don't toss good men or women into prisons who choose to enjoy the sunshine.
