I Did and Started Again

Hello everyone, I have smoked 46 long years I have COPD, and wanted to let you know I did stop smoking for 3 weeks with no problem, I took the new medication Chantex if you are really wanting to stop and can get a script from your doctor please do, if I could do it anyone can, well my story gets bad because being on workmen's compensation they would not pay for my last refill. It is a 12 week script and even with insurance it is over 100.00, and me not able to work could not fill so just got pissed off and started but back but now worse than before, 3.5 packs a day.I do plan on stopping again but have to be in the right frame of mind, after all it is mind over matter. Good luck to all who quit.

I'm in the same boat! As far as the cost of the medicine my dr. told me the meds is ALOT cheaper than the cigs!!! which is true, you just have to decide what is important to you, they diagnosed me with COPD too. I have kids and grandkids that I want to see grow up, I have no choice but to quit!
