I Want to Run Away
Okay!
So I've done a lot of research into wilderness survival and such.
And I found a nice place that I think would be awesome for running away to.
It's a lake island, with no dangerous water animals and good hunting on the mainland. It's good for fishing and is one of the cleanest lakes in the states.
But I'm afraid to go by myself. I'm worried that despite all my research I won't be able to survive past my food supplies.
That's the biggest problem right there. My usefulness lies in research and an insane amount of food. I don't really have other supplies available to me.
What I'm wanting to do is go to this island, and live in like, a village type place.
We wouldn't even have to leave the island; we could fish for meat and grow fruits and veggies. And being surrounded by fresh water means we only have to boil or filter it.
The islands on the lake and those nearby are used for primitive camping sometimes, so we don't have to worry about being kicked out if we're careful.
Theres beach on the island I'm looking at, and we can swim whenever we want!
Also, we can each build our own "houses".
Total creative control.
Also, the lake is used for recreation like diving, and there's non poisonous jellyfish and sponge.
I think it would be amazing to build our own little Island Paradise!
So if you want to come, make sure you're not against hard work (also known as: getting the island set up, potential gardening, etcetera).
We'd be going late March/early April. We wouldn't have to arrive at the same time, although it would be nice.
Edit:
Here's a picture of an island on the lake. It's not THE island, just an island.
