No Place Like Moon

I long
to find the solitude
that only the moon
can bring us

Just you and I
amoungst the craters
the dusty plains....
with not a soul
not a sound
not a worry in the world

as only the moon
can bring us

we need not food
nor water
nor air

for just us together
alone
sustains us

a sustenance

that only the moon
can bring us

Wow! This is beautiful! I have someone with whom I would like to be in this situation...

Lovely piece, but highly impractical, ultimately. I'd suggest packing a picnic lunch at the very least. And a soft blanket. :-D<br />

I'm joking, of course. You capture desire beautifully. But I wonder at how long the romance will last, because while we may believe that one special another is all we need, we need more sustain us. Just a thought, inspired by your lovely evocative poem.
