Saw Them In The Autumn Of 2010

It was around October or November of 2010 that my husband & I saw them for the very first time- two nights in a row, and we live in Ohio. The sky was pretty clear & the air was cold. We were coming home around 9:00pm & saw something odd in the sky. It was a bright pink color & looked like a HUGE glowing star at first. When we got home we could see them- they were very bright in the middle & dimmer around the edges. They were a beautiful pinkish hue. The next night it was a little cloudy but we could see them again, this time like all the colors of the rainbow & it looked like a huge glowing circle directly above our house. There was red, orange, yellow, green, blue, & purple. We just gazed at them for about a half hour before we decided to go in. I'd love to see them even brighter sometime. The glowing bright greens have always been my favorite.
