Rat race, rat race, everybody is running in the freakin rat race, leaving behind morals and values, accepting selfishness and apathy, choosing ignorance and arrogance, and yet we wonder, why aren't modern day people happy.
Power and money is all that we see, and until that is dealt with, we as a race cannot move forward. We hear news about death, injustice, corruption and oppression. Say to ourselves, someone should do something, maybe talk about it a bit and forget it.
If you're looking for who's guilty of making the world the way it is-even though you may not have directly caused any real harm- is you, me, your co-worker, your mother, your significant other. All 7 billion of us. Because we stand by and let this happen, because we lack courage to do what is right.
