Swimming in my complex pool, hardly anyone else there.  Back and forth, feeling the play of my arms and legs propelling me through the water.  Hot sun on my face, cool water all around me, all sounds muffled by the water in my ears.  Swimming on my back, there is nothing in the world but me, water, and sky.

@ iwanttogrowmyown: You hit it on the head; swimming is my meditation time. Virtually every second of my day is full with something, pool time is for me to just be. It doesn't matter how stressed I am, how much I've got on my plate, I can forget it in the pool. And even though nothing at all is likely to change in the couple hours I spend swimming, I always go back inside feeling renewed and better able to handle the stuff in my life.

wowowo!!! great to hear, I hardly enjoyed this kind of a thing in my life.
