A Butterfly

This morning it was very simple, and I was not in any particular mood just getting organised to get children to school. As I walked out the front yelling for all to hurry up, a little orangey red butterfly landed right on my chest. I stopped in my tracks, and I had no choice but to let out a small giggle, at this little thing with its delicate wings opening and closing. What a strange place to stop for a rest!

>< Noooo...

*runs in circles*

*Sylph giggles*............Yes, Lilly...go run after HT with that bug in your hand....LOL

*Sylph sets camera* ......haha

Lol, yes I am terrified of bugs in general. Lock me in a room w/ a bunch of them loose and i may just pass out. I think you can go to the swing without me. Then again, you may get entertainment from me running around away from them. :P

lol I bet Sylph. I dont know how i would react to the religious part though. Never big on it. But in no way against it. Last big religous thing i had for me, was w/ my grandfather and just upset me... Idk why :(

LOL, HT...and we were even thinking of visiting Lilly where she's swinging right now in her avatar...lots of bugs there for sure...haha ;)

Yes, my grandma has her quirks about superstitions and beliefs...such a fanatic about them - but she's very religious, too. I can never understand how that works for her. LOL But she's a joy to have around when she starts her litany of superstitions...too funny... :)

>< I can't stand bugs in general.. Creep me out, least they don't freak you out :P

I prolly would have screamed like a girl or something if it landed on me...

btw - Interesting belifes Sylph, of how your grandmas saw them :)

I bet someone...or even some people do! ;)

But I wanna know who.............. ;)

I love butterflies. They're like fairies. :)
In addition to what WG said...part of my grandma's beliefs...a dark-colored butterfly, black, brown, dark gray is the presence of a passed loved one. The bright coloured ones represent the present loved ones who are thinking of you or you are thinking of.

I just finished listening to the Silver Wattle - in the story, a butterfly landing on a character, symbolised the presence of a passed love one, and their aproval of something or someone in your life....could this be so?

Beautiful! Butterflies always make me smile...and I'm sure it's good luck if one lands on you!
