Honestly it really comes down to being worried about their pocket on this one. A girl went around trying to help the baby, and she was told to just mind her own business.

Oh, I noticed that part but surely calling an ambulance and directing traffic away from the girl would not have put a person in a position where they could be sued.

I would rather think they were hoping someone else would deal with it (As awful as it sounds.) than that they were simply too worried about their pocket.

This is china though, it is as i said there are laws that if you don't follow proper procedure you can get sued. And proper procedure is to basically leave the person alone to help themselves. Also the it was a little girl and since they had problems with over population they don't care about little girls. The parents could have killed her and no one would have cared, or it use to be like that. The man that ran her over thought to himself, that if he injured the girl he would be paying hospital bills the rest of his life, and if she died he would have only had a small fine.

    Those are china's laws.

some people are selfish and self-absorbed; they can't even bother to get the girl out of the street before she got hit again. I think there should be a law that you should help people who are injured and help them to the hospital, and if they don't, pay a fine. also, mother should have taken her daughter with her instead of leaving her in the other store.

    Diffusion of responsibility perhaps?

Not one of the better phenomenons to be associated with humanity.

But then there are so few 'good' ones these days.

Yes, this story was sad. See what I was saying, most of the people now a days get so selfish.

"Do not do unto others what you want others do unto you" goes like "Do to others what you want them to do unto you" or "Treat others the way you want them to treat you".
