Saint Nicholas

In some parts of Europe, children don't receive their toys and sweets from Father Christmas/Santa, but from Saint Nicholas (Sinterklaas in Dutch). On 6 December, Saint Nicholas brings presents to every child that has been good in the past year.
I think Saint Nicholas is way cooler than Santa - after all, Santa is just a copy as 'Sinterklaas' was brought to America by the Dutch; and saw his name changed to 'Santa Claus' and began to be associated with Christmas.

My brother and I still insist on putting our shoes by the chimney and expect chocolates and treats...
