My Eggshell Thank You.

    i shared "eggshells" and i never thought that so many people would come and share their own stories and offer kind words of advice and sincere care and compassion. i had a dream last night of a single ladybug, she came and sat upon my shoulder. i hear thats a good sign. i stumbled on this site when i was tired of everything, went to ask.com and typed in "i want a new life" and it brought me here.
    its crazy i havent felt this heard and accepted in such a long time, the relief i feel just by sharing that one story has made me want to share with all of you guys out there that are willing to listening and share your own heartaches and triumphs over lifes obstacles. i feel rejuvanated and i can take a deep breath in knowing that people know what i am going through and i dont have to hide everything anymore. so from the bottom of my heart i say thank you.
    i know this is just a step in the right direction but its a start. who knows where i will finish but i am determined to at least come close and the life i have dreamed about since i was little picking dandelions in the spring breeze.

I read some of your "Eggshells" story, and I have to say, I kind of know what it feels like. My family situation may not be as extreme, but it seriously could be turned into a soap opera. I know what it feels like to be involved in family secrets and not be allowed to talk to anyone, and therapy is unacceptable in my family. It just plain sucks. I am so glad to see you are beginning to overcome your situation. I really admire your strength or courage, because if it were me, I don't know what I'd do. You give me hope for my current situation. Thanks for posting your story, you're a source of strength for so many people out there

You know Chena, I read your story, and felt and undeniable pang of kinship. I have a story very similar to yours, an it eats at me everyday. I am going to add my own story after I am finished here, and I would like to thank you for inspiring me to do so.

I'm only 25 years old, myself, and I feel that even though I've been through a lot in my life, there is still so much I need to learn. One of those things is being able to trust in people and share my story.

I love your candid nature and innocent and bold hand outstretched... for something... Bless you and Iam so glad you feel heard and a little better. This site is very good for that. :-)
