Leaving It Behind

I never was really content with who i was, and i've come to hate it. Aside from not having much personality of my own and always adopting what my friends did, which i a quality about myself i hate, i also have struggled with emotional/mental problems as well. Ive decided that starting over is the best option, now i can be who i've always wanted too. Ive taken the first steps, gotten rid of my friends, im working on changing my name, and im working out the financial aspects as well. Im in the army national guard, so im going to use them to pay for school in whatever state i move to, and then after college, settle down there, and become who i want to be. Any advice?
