Nothing to Eat Pasta......

I call this that for my hubbie told me one night that there was nothing to eat in the house......Told him give me 30 min....and if there was nothing on the table then...He could get a burger at McDonalds.....

Cook any type of pasta.....I use a handfull of speg...

While it is cooking away...

Warm a little Extra Virgin Olive Oil  (EVOO) in a pan

Toss in chopped  Garlic to taste....I use 3-4 cloves....(I love garlic)

sautae that a bit...Then some rosemary and parsely.....Or could use basil....Try them both   still great

When pasta is ready drain.....And into the pan add 2 or 3 tablespoons of good butter....and a touch of pasta water....then toss the pasta in

 

I know that most people want exact amounts....But I never learned to cook that way....So most of the things I cook is just my hand...or eveey for the measurements....I know that my palm hold two tablespoons....But I promisre that when needed I give the right measurements....

I have started to make sure that t here is pesto sauce on hand in the frig......That solves everything......Basil...garlic....and olive oil all in one handy jar....<br />

A few tablespoons mixed into hot pasta.....or diced chicken.....<br />

and dinner is on the table in about 20 min....<br />

Hmmmm....Sounds yummy.....Last night I make my own hot pockets....<br />

Browned up some hamburger...Tosses in two chopped onions....A little bit of chopped garlic.....Chili powder....sage...coriander....and some shredded cheese....<br />
Took two raw croissants to make a square.....filled with the filling....folded it and sealed the edges......POW...there is a home made hot pocket....all you had to do was bake it for 10 min...since the filling was already cooked...mmmmm Now that is a great summer meal with the kids<br />
And the best thing with the filling is that you can put anything that you want in it....Next time It is going to be brown sugar apples...and make it for dessert.....Now that will be a great ending...With a little Ice cream on the side......mmmmmmm<br />

Now I have my own mouth watering....Guess I better get to the store

I do something similar. I use basil & green onion. Wonderful.

With some of the take out.....That does not sound like a good thing....hehehehe No really.....I will have to try it.....It does sound very good.....The roasted garlic.....I love it that way also

Hello new friend.. garlic;how funny..Love it too.Ever tried bake whole garlic on sour dough bread?You take the garlic wrap with foil bake till it carmelized.Spread it on.. I have a great pizza recipe too.On a Wheat tortilla,bake it in the oven 350. bake 40 min gets hard..Take out oven-put mozzarella/ cheddar/monterey cheese first than your sauce put on top of cheese,salami,mushrooms,onions ,garlic,sausage,what ever you like bake it.I promise you it taste as good as take out.. Take care~~ ;o)please try it let me know..

Yea....He says that I work miricals.....For most of the time I am able to make a great meal out of nothing.....hehehehe<br />
