brought my new digital slr about 4 months ago now after not having a camera for a year, and its taken me all this time to get around to useing it on a regular basis.
I started out two months ago trying to fit in the time especially to do this it got to the stage I dragged out my diary I got for Christmas, blew the dust off it and started penciling in a day each weekend where I would make myself go out somewhere different and take some photos.
Last weekend it was to my parents bush block and being spring the wildflowers are in abundance, the weather was overcast and it had been sprinkling and I nearly went home but there wasn't any wind and the sun finally peeked through so it wasn't a loss.
This is quite difficult for me to leave the house as I have a few anxiety issues lol and I have small children in tow but I think this must be good therapy cause I stuck to it this past month to the point I'm setting myself little assignments for the weekends and finally I'm producing shots I think I could really do something with.
So to everyone else out there with a camera maybe setting some time aside on a regular basis even monthly would give you the same rewards :)
