Blank Page?

I have just got a second-hand laptop and want to use it for a specific purpose: writing a book. I've never written anything but letters, journals, notes but have always wanted to try myself with a book. I have a few ideas in my mind, but find it hard to make them 'real' on the blank page in front of me. I fear they might be boring, useless, or senseless to other readers. But I do want to keep up, because I'm realizing this is want I really want to do.

Congrats on realizing you want to write. I'm not a writer but do enjoy expressing myself. The delete button is your friend, lol. A great story doesn't always have to be perfect the first draft you can always spice it up later. I think the important thing most writers talk about is getting it started.

What about?
