I am a published poet and I'm interested in people sharing their poetry no matter what experience you might have as a poet. I learned so much by reading the works of other people, how they used words to express feelings, how they used body parts to engender the feelings of the soul. I have read the pain and agony of a tormented writer as well as the crisp joy of blossoming creative individuals. This will be a safe place to expose your work without criticism - as there will be a Code of Honor for all joining members that only helpful and positive ex
I hope we have many members join and share their verses and poems with us. There are no poetic forms to follow or rhythmic scheme to adhere to, this is a completely open poetry forum for you to express yourself in whatever poetic style you chose. Again the COH requests that your verse not be insensitive to or hostile to any race, creed, religion, nationality, sex or sex preference. Poems that violate the COH will be censored and the author may be banned from the group depending on the severity of the offense.
If there is interest in people wanting to share their verse/poetry/muse, I felt that it was far better that the ground rules should be set forth before the group started than after, so those who want to be a part of this experience can feel safe and free to expose themselves, write from their hearts and not fear judgment or criticism of any kind. Instead this will be a community of support, healing, empathy and spiritual energy. If this sounds like something you'd like to be a part of, I'd be so delighted.
