s I lay there in the mud and stared up at the thing, I realized how simple it really was. It didn't appear to want to hurt me. But it sure gave me quite a fright. I could barely see it's form in the darkness. But the moon shown through the trees and allowed me to see the shape of it. The head was very large and egglike. The body very slender, and it appeared to be the same high as me. I couldn't see the face, but it looked as if it was trying to communicate with sign language. I of course had no idea what it was saying, I'd never learned sign language...

  | Posted Jan 2nd, 2008 at 4:20AM I wish I had though. I used to date someone who was deaf but never bothered to learn it. Our relationship was purely based on physical attraction. There was no need to talk. Needless to say it didn't last long. I digress. The thing started pointed at something and looking in it's direction. Was it beckoning me? I was too scared to get up. What if it attacked me? But it didn't look paticularly aggressive. I got up onto my feet and looked to where it was pointing. +2 nods   |
