I Want You to Know What I Think
German Chancellor Angela Merkel told her party's youth wing at a conference Saturday that " Multiculturalism in Germany has absolutely failed".
"The approach of saying, 'Well, let's just go for a multicultural society, let's coexist and enjoy each other, has failed, absolutely failed," she said in a speech and she added : "In Germany we feel tied to Christian values. Those who don't accept them don't have a place here".
Whatever happened to the wonderful concept of the separation of Church and State ??
Are we not in 2010 , or, did we magically go back to the 1930´s?
The strange thing is that Merkel does not explain what those so called "values" are.
I wonder where does she think people who do not share her Christian views should go to. Camps ? Hmmm, I am afraid that´s been done.
I find her approach to life so incredibly backwards, so hateful and intolerant.
It is incomprehensible to me how in this day and age, certain politicians like Merkel cowardly hiding behind the façade of Christianism, push their agenda and impose this kind of mentality that only encourages racism and discrimination .
